Prince Harry has officially found his “Princess”! This past Monday, the newest royal couple, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, made their official engagement announcement outside the The Sunken Gardens at Kensington Palace in London, England. The pair were beaming while they greeted reporters and photographers.

There’s more to this story than just a beautiful ring. Prince Harry explained the origins of the center stone as well as the sentimental two side stones. “The ring is obviously yellow gold, that’s her favorite. The main stone itself is from Botswana. And the little diamonds on the side are from my mother’s jewelry box collection to make sure she stays with us.”
Prince Harry went on to express how his late mother would feel about the engagement to Meghan, “She would be over the moon jumping up and down… It’s days like this I miss having her around.”

We cannot wait to witness the newest royal wedding and luckily we don’t have to wait long! Kensington Palace recently announced, “The marriage of His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales and Ms. Meghan Markle will take place at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle in May, 2018”.
Needless to say we have May 2018 marked on our calendars!
